Literacy

This term we are working on using descriptive writing to describe the setting of our book, The Secret of Black Rock'. We will also be learning about Erin's dilema and will be looking at how to produce persuassive writing to convince Erin's town not to destroy the black rock.

In preparation for World Book Day (Thursday 6th March), we will be creating an exploration story with the Year 2 children as the characters. We have been remeniscing about our favourite stories and books we loved when we were younger, to give us inspiration for our characters.

During the holiday, the children have been set a mission to design and draw their character for our story. The deails of the mission are in the letter attached (bottom of the page).

In the documents attached and links below, there are resources for you to use to help you design your character.
