What have we been up to?
January 2025
Throughout January we got up to lots of exciting things. Please keep reading to hear all about them.
Y4/Y5 Basketball Competitions
Two groups of children from our Y4 and Y5 class took part in basketball competitions last month. They all had an amazing time, learning new skills, working as part of a team and representing the school so well! Well done!
Y3 Visits to Burnt Tree Croft Residential Home
Our Y3 class have been taking it in turns to attend the local residential home, they have been taking part in activities and have been getting to know the residents. All of the children have been so well behaved and have represented the school amazingly. Well done Y3.
Nursery parent and child workshops
In January nursery hosted a stay and play session for all children, parents were invited into nursery to join in with crafts, singing songs and playing with trains, puppets, playdough and so much more! Every one had a wonderful time and it was a good way for parents to see what their children get up to on a daily basis!
Snow day!
FS2 embraced the wintery weather and had lots of fun in the snow at the beginning of term. They made snow angels and used paint to dye the snow lots of different colours!
Chinese New Year celebrations
Our F1 and FS2 classes have been celebrating the Chinese New Year this month and as part of the celebrations they helped prepare a Chinese dish!
