About Us
We are a one form entry primary school near the centre of Sheffield. This enables us to make the most of all the opportunites that being a city centre school affords, including, visits to museums, art galleries, the two universities and the amazing Crucible theatre as well as being able to use the tram to attend sports competitions and events that are a lttle wider afield.
Our community is very diverse and the very large majority of our children speak an additional language. At any one time there are approximately 20 different languages spoken across school.
We aim to give our children a fantastic experience at primary school for the period of time that they are with us, whether that is from Nursery through to the end of Year 6, or for a shorter period of time. Every child in our school is valued and known. We are very proud of our children and the progress they make in all areas of life and learning.
We are a member of The Sheaf Co-operative Learning Trust and work in partnership with schools to continually review, reflect and improve learning in our individual schools.
We love having parents and carers coming into school to find out more about our children's learning. We have regular meetings to share the curriclum with you, including how you can support learning at home. We also run parent and carer meetings each Thursday morning: these are in the School Sports Hall and are an opportunity to come along and meet other parents and carers and learn more about different aspects of school, as well just to chat. We are very keen to hold meetings about things that you would find interesting and helpful, so please come along and speak with Mrs Scully to share your ideas for meetings and thoughts about school.
