Homework

Homework is handed out on Fridays and expected in on the following Thursday. We may also be setting homework for maths from the White Rose Home Learning books. Spellings may be given out earlier in the week, but should be learned for tests on Mondays. 

The most important task to do at home is reading! You need to be reading every night - it improves your learning, increases your vocabulary and it's fun! Please help us monitor how much your child is reading by ensuring their reading diaries are kept up to date. Also encourage children to read on Bug Club, which is a great resource, with comprehension questions linked to each book.

Children also need to be learning their timestables at home.Their TTRockstars details are in their reading record books.
