Newsletter 4: Mr Goodhand - Spring Term
17/01/2024
Hello again,
It has been lovely to see all the children and to welcome them back to school after the winter break. All the children have come back full of enthusiasm for their learning and with positive attitudes (despite the cold weather). So far, the staff have been very pleased with the children’s hard work, good behavioural choices and their impressive learning.
Whilst the Spring 1 half-term is a short one, we have lots of learning to do and we have already got off to a flying start. Many of our Key Stage 2 pupils have been enjoying after-school science and racket sports at the university through Rackets Cubed, our Y1 and Y2 children are excited to start our after-school dance club and our Y4’s have made a great start to their swimming lessons at Zest!
Parents and carers have also been invited in to attend their termly curriculum meetings to find out all about what their children will be learning during the spring term! Details of these meetings have gone on via the School Spider App.
During this term, there is a chance that we will have some adverse weather conditions including snow and ice. In the incident of any extreme weather conditions please check the school website to find out information about potential school closures or delayed opening times.
Mr Goodhand (Deputy Headteacher)
