We hope you have enjoyed the recent holiday. We have lots of exciting things lined up this term.





In Y3 homework will be set each Friday and is expected to be returned by the following Thursday.






Y3 are continuing to learn about Fractions. We will then move on to measurement and properties of shape.



This term we writing an information text linked to our topic of the Stone Age. We will also be creating play scripts using Stone Age puppets that we will make.




This term our Topic will be the Stone Age. We will be planning lots of exciting activities throughout the term.



This term we will be learning about rocks and fossils which links to our topic of the Stone Age.



This term Y3 will be having ice skating lessons at Ice Sheffield. We have four lessons booked which will take place each Tuesday morning.

P.E. days are Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons. Please make sure that your child has a P.E kit, including a change of shoes, in school.




We will have regular P4C, Philosophy for Children, sessions. These are an opportunity for the children to discuss different topical issues where we strive to ask open ended questions.



We will continue to include lots of creative activities. As well as making Stone Age puppets we will be creating our own cave paintings.
