Snow Queen Visit

Date: 20th Jan 2017 @ 5:02pm

Dear Parents and Carers

Three weeks in and I'm managing to keep my resolution of adding something to the website on a fortnightly basis - just!

This week has been really busy. F1 and F2 went on a visit to Whirlow Farm as part of their learning and F2 have been writing some fabulous recounts about their favourite part of the trip: stroking rabbits and guinea pigs and also seeing the pigs were particularly popular!

Members of Y4 went represented the school in a basketball competition on Wednesday and came second which means they are through to the finals of the competition in March. Well done, Year 4 and keep practising!

We finished off this week by watching The Quantum Theatre's production of the Snow Queen. The children absolutely loved it. I've added it as a news item with some pictures. Please take a look.

Next week is going to be another busy one with Y1 taking part in a Mini-Olympics and another Reading Workshop for KS1 parents. Please come along if you have a child in Y1 or Y2. The teachers have worked really hard to make the workshops informative and useful with lots fo practical ideas that you can carry out at home to help your child develop their reading skills.
