Progression of Skills for Reading and Writing

We have developed a progression skills for Reading and Writing and use them to base planning on. If children are working below Age Related Expectations (AREs), due to additional needs or because they have recently joined school and have entered below AREs, teachers are able to use these progressions to help pitch work at exactly the right level.
